Custom Websites for Tessitura
Websites coded from scratch in .NET, React and Next.js, built on the Tessitura API: your season and live availability straight from Tessitura, buy buttons into TNEW, and patrons signed in on your own site.
A website built around your season.
Templates make your season fit them. We write custom websites from the first line of code, shaped around how your organization sells, with every production, performance, price and seat count read straight from Tessitura, always current.
Our developers work in .NET, React, Next.js and Astro, and connect them to the Tessitura REST API through a small, secure service of our own. Patrons see what's selling, buy in a click on TNEW, and sign in once to find their tickets and memberships.
Straight from Tessitura.
Your season, from Tessitura
Productions, performances, dates, venues and prices come straight from Tessitura, so the website is never out of step with the box office.
Live availability
“Selling fast”, “Few seats left” and “Sold out” shown on every performance, worked out from Tessitura's live seat counts.
Buy buttons that land right
Every Buy tickets button opens the right performance in TNEW, or puts the seats straight into the patron's TNEW cart.
Patrons signed in
One login with TNEW: patrons see their upcoming tickets, memberships and benefits on your website, in their own account area.
Giving & membership
Donation and membership pages built on your Tessitura funds and levels, with checkout on TNEW, so every gift lands where your team expects it.
Packages & subscriptions
Season packages and flex passes listed from Tessitura, with what's in each and what it costs, ready to buy.
Custom code, in the tools that fit.
We choose the technology for the job, not the other way round, and write every line ourselves: no templates, no page builders.
.NET & ASP.NET Core
Our Tessitura service layer and server-rendered sites: typed, fast, secure, and at home on Azure or any cloud.
React
The interactive parts patrons use most: seat-aware calendars, package builders, donation flows and account areas.
Next.js & Astro
Pages generated from Tessitura and served from the edge, for sites that load instantly on any phone.
Node.js & TypeScript
APIs, background jobs and integrations, typed end to end so changes stay safe as the site grows.
Editing, your way
A headless CMS or an editing area built into the site, so your team writes the stories while Tessitura supplies the facts.
Cloud hosting
Azure, AWS or Google Cloud, with automated deployments, monitoring and backups set up from day one.
Fast by design.
A custom build carries nothing it doesn't need, so pages are quick even on a patron's phone in the lobby.
- Pages pre-built from Tessitura and served from a global CDN
- Refreshed on a schedule, or the moment a performance changes
- Lean code for fast pages on phones as well as desktops
- Accessible, with WCAG 2.2 AA as the target
Built to grow with you.
New season, new idea, new campaign: a custom site takes whatever you need next, without fighting a theme.
- Seat maps, package builders, festival schedules: whatever your season needs
- Integrations beyond Tessitura: email, CRM, analytics and payments
- Clean, documented code that your team or ours can keep building on
- Ideal for flagship sites, festivals, microsites and season launches
Tessitura in, TNEW out.
The website sits between the two systems you already trust. It never takes payments itself, and it keeps working when Tessitura is busy.
- 01
Tessitura
Your productions, performances, prices, seats, patrons and funds, through the Tessitura REST API.
- 02
Our .NET service
A small, secure API between your site and Tessitura. It holds the credentials, caches answers, and asks only for what it needs.
- 03
Your website
React, Next.js or Astro, in your brand, reading from our service rather than straight from Tessitura.
- 04
TNEW checkout
Patrons buy, give and renew on TNEW, where payments and receipts already work.
Credentials stay on the server, pages are cached, and the website asks Tessitura only for what it needs, so the box office never feels it.

Why a custom build instead of WordPress?
A custom build suits sites that need to be especially fast, unusual or interactive: seat-aware calendars, package builders, festival schedules, or a design no theme could deliver. If your team mainly wants to publish news and stories themselves, our WordPress websites for Tessitura may suit you better, and we'll recommend one after we've seen how your team works.
Which technologies do you use?
Most often .NET (ASP.NET Core) for the service that talks to Tessitura, with React, Next.js or Astro for the website itself, written in TypeScript. If your team already works in .NET or React, we build on what you have.
How does our team edit the website?
Through a headless CMS or an editing area we build into the site. Your team writes pages, news and production stories; dates, prices and availability come from Tessitura on their own.
Do you replace TNEW?
No. The website works alongside TNEW: it shows the season, availability and accounts, and usually hands patrons to TNEW to pay, so payments and receipts stay where they already work.
What do we need from Tessitura?
Access to the Tessitura REST API for a service user with the permissions the website needs. We help your Tessitura administrator set it up, and the website only uses what it's given.
What happens if Tessitura is slow or down?
The website keeps working. What it reads from Tessitura is cached, so pages still show the season, and buy buttons still go to TNEW. Availability badges simply wait for the next good answer.
