Tessitura-enabled
Streaming Platform

Powered by digitalArts_ms Encore

Your own branded streaming site for performances, series, and podcasts. Patrons sign in with their Tessitura login, and what they can watch follows what Tessitura knows: memberships, tickets, subscriptions, and gifts.

Your digital season, sold the way you already sell.

Recordings, documentaries, series, and podcasts on a streaming site with your name on it. Patrons sign in with the same login they use to buy tickets, and the platform checks with Tessitura what they're entitled to the moment they press play.

No second box office, no separate list of passwords, no spreadsheets of who paid. Memberships, tickets, and gifts stay in Tessitura, where your team already manages them.

  • Patrons sign in with their Tessitura login
  • Access from memberships, tickets, subscriptions & giving
  • Locked titles sell: “Become a member” goes straight to TNEW
  • Your site, your player, your app, in every language you offer
Your audience's view
0:00 / 2:01

Two-minute tours, no sound, captions on screen. A fictional company with public-domain films and paintings.

The Tessitura login

Your box office account is the key.

Your patrons already have a Tessitura web login. Now it opens your streams too, and every title they can't watch yet is an invitation to join, renew, or buy a ticket.

  1. 01

    Patrons sign in

With the email and password they use on TNEW. The password goes to Tessitura to be checked and is never kept.

  2. 02

    They press play

The platform asks Tessitura right then: are they a Gold Circle member? Do they hold a ticket? Did they give this year?

  3. 03

    They watch, or they join

Members watch. Everyone else sees what it takes, with a button to your TNEW page to buy it.

The Access screen: a Gold Circle members package whose rule is a Tessitura membership level, with a link to the TNEW membership page and a Preview as a patron panel.

Access rules

Gate streams on anything Tessitura knows.

A package is what a viewer is entitled to. Combine rules with “all of these” or “any of these”, choose the titles it covers, and write the message locked viewers see.

Membership level

A current membership at a level, or that level and above, with an optional grace period after it lapses.

A ticket to the production

Bought a seat? Watch the recording, from a set number of days before the performance to days after.

A subscription package

Subscribers to a season package unlock its streams, picked from your Tessitura packages by name.

Giving

Gave a set amount since a date, to any fund or to the funds you choose.

Constituency

Board, artists, staff, press, teachers: any constituency you already keep in Tessitura.

Attribute

An attribute on the patron's record, with or without a particular value.

Household

One switch per package lets household members qualify too. Off unless you turn it on.

Simply signed in

Free with an account: a registration wall that turns casual viewers into contacts.

Preview as a patron

Type a constituent number and see which packages they qualify for, which rule passed or failed, and why.

Access with an end date

Viewers see “Your access through Gold Circle ends 30 June 2027”, worked out from Tessitura's own dates.

Never locked out by an outage

A Tessitura call that fails is never treated as a “no”. The last good answer holds for up to a day.

A built-in check-up

Runs every Tessitura call the platform depends on against your system and shows what passed, how fast, and what failed.

Take a look

A streaming site for viewers. A control room for your team.

Phones first

In their pocket, on their home screen.

Most viewing happens on phones, so the site is built for them first. Turn on the app and patrons add your site to their home screen in one tap, on iPhone and Android, with no app store in between.

  • Double-tap to skip, controls that get out of the way
  • Continue watching across phone, tablet and computer
  • An accessibility menu on every page
  • Respects “reduce motion” and data-saving settings

And on tablets

Made for the sofa, too.

On a tablet the site lays itself out for the way it's held: the player with the conversation beside it in landscape, a full-height title page in portrait.

  • Landscape and portrait, each with its own layout
  • Comments beside the player, pinned to moments in the film
  • Chapters, subtitles and speed a tap away
  • Picks up where the phone left off

Built in, not bolted on

The things a streaming team needs, already there.

No plug-ins to buy, no agency to call. Accessibility, search, AI crawlers, design, artwork and share cards are all run from the admin.

The viewers' accessibility menu open over the home page: text size, more contrast, underline links, an easier-to-read font, less motion and captions on by default.
Accessibility

Accessibility controls, built in

Every header has an accessibility menu: text up to 150%, more contrast, underlined links, an easier-to-read font, less motion and captions on by default. The admin checks your colours against WCAG 2.2 AA and lists what still needs captions.

The SEO screen: a page title pattern, the site's description, and a preview of the search result and share card.
On-site SEO

Search engines, looked after

Titles, descriptions, canonical links, a sitemap and structured data on every page, written by the server so search engines and link previews see them. Each title has its own search wording, with a preview of the result.

Search engine and AI crawler settings: search engines on, structured data on, training AI models blocked, AI search and assistants allowed.
Bots & AI crawlers

Say which bots may read you

AI crawlers come in two groups, each one switch: let AI search and assistants cite you, and keep model trainers out. Plus llms.txt, a guide to your site for AI assistants, and a switch that keeps a site out of search until it's ready.

The Templates screen: drawings of nine layouts for performance pages, with Box set chosen, and the layouts for series pages below.
Design per area

A design for every part of the site

Choose the layout of each kind of page from the admin, from classic and cinematic to programme and box set, for performances, series, podcasts, collections and the player. Any title or collection can choose its own.

The Design a cover window: a frame from Peer Gynt with the title set on it, previewed as a cover, a poster and a square.
Artwork

Artwork, made on site

Take a frame of the film or one of your pictures, set the title on it, and save cover, poster and square in one go. One picture fills every shape around a focal point, and cover clips are cut from your video.

Share card settings: four designs for The Nutcracker, with the Framed design chosen and a large preview of the card.
Social sharing

Share cards, drawn for you

Every shared link gets a card in your look: four designs, picture or poster first, your colour, serif or sans lettering and your logo. A title can choose another design or bring its own picture.

Everything in the box

The whole platform, feature by feature.

Built for arts organizations from day one: 84 features across 10 areas, all included as standard.

Your streaming site

  • Your own pages from blocks: banners, columns, galleries, FAQs, title rows
  • Browse pages with search, filters and sorting
  • Announcement bar with start and end dates
  • Readable addresses: /title/la-boheme
  • Installable app on phones and computers, no app store needed

Better together

One Tessitura login. Everywhere your patrons meet you.

The streaming platform, the chatbot, and the MCP server all run on the same live Tessitura connection. Patrons use one box office account across your website, your chat, and your streams, and your team sees the results where they already work.

Already have one of them? The Tessitura connection is done. Adding the next one is quicker.
